Integrating MailChimp E-mail Newsletter with sharetronix

MailChimp is one of the most popular email marketing services offers state ofart tools and delivery platform for your email marketing campaign .And the bestpart its also available for free. Mailchimp free account enables to manage 500Email accounts with a list and 3000 Monthly emails can be sent with the account.If you are requirement is higher than this then you can also consider togo for premium account.

Ok lets begin the integration of email newsletter with the "sharetronixwebsite registration form" .

Before getting proceed .You need a account with the MailChimp,if you don't havethe account then you can get it from here ( If you already have the API key andthe List ID then you may skip these steps)

Finding the MailChimp API Key and the List ID

The first process is to find the API Key for your account (This API key will beused to connect your sharetronix website with your Mailchimp email newsletterList)

Login to your account .
After login your will be forwarded to the “Dashboard “where you can find the controls for managing your account.

Look at your" left sidebar" you will find the "Settings”menu from that menu locate the " API Keys &info" option and clickthat one.

After clicked that option, you will find your API key for your account. Savethis API Key in a notepad for upcoming usages.

So you have located the API Key for your account then the next process is tofind the " List ID " for the particular Email List ( List ID willhelps you identify the particular list from totally available lists )

Once again return to the "Dashboard"

Find the " Lists" Menu from the Dashboard and click that menu.

Clicking the "Lists” menu will displays the all available lists. From this lists select the list which you would like to integrate it with yoursharetronix registration form( If you have not created the Email list then create it one for your campaign)

From the "Settings " menu of the selected list ,find the " List Settings and Unique ID" option and click that one .

After clicking that option you will find the unique ID for that list. Save thisList ID in a notepad for upcoming usages.

Integrating the code with sharetronix website

Download the files and Extract it.
You fill find the two files in two folders

"signup.php" file  in "Controllers" folder and MCAPI.class.php" file in "helpers" folder.

Open Systems->controllers->signup.php file and find the variable "

” and” "values with your own Mailchimp credtenials.
Save it and upload the file with your sharetroix corresponding folder.

Upload "helpers-> MCAPI.class.php " to the sharesharetroix corrosponding folder.

Thats all now your members will be automatically subscribed to your "MailChimp" Email newsletter List.
