Admin Approval
As you can see from the screenshots, I need to add a button to theleft menu reads (Awaiting Approval) which is an admin privilege only. Onceclicked, from (02.jpg) a page will open with those posts need approval beforethey are publically published.
01. Button to the left menu with admin privilege only (image 01).
02. When someone posts a new Post, the post will automatically appear for (ONLY)the user who made the post. And it will not be published unless being approvedfrom the admin.
03. When (awaiting approval) button is clicked, a page (image 02) will openwith all posts waiting approval sorted by date (older to newer).
04. Each post in the awaiting approval page has three links (Approve, Reject, Edit)
- Approve willdirectly make the post public as any normal post.
- Reject willdelete the post from the server completely and NO ONE will ever see it.
- Edit will openthe normal edit section BUT with the ability to assign it to a group of thosegroups the admin has joined and and option to assign the post to a language.What is language? Read below.
05. The assign to language (image 03 & image 04) is to give users theability to view only posts with the desired language. Every user can selectfrom post language the desired reading language which is completely differentfrom theme language.
Thingsto stick to:
- Make sure postsdon’t show in search until being approved.
- Provide adetailed (lines of editing) so I can apply the job to my ST website, I don’twant replacing files because I already have lots of modifications in most ofthe files.
NOONE should be able to see the waiting approval post until beingapproved except for the user who submitted the post.
- Waitingapproval posts should not show in search engines until being published.
- Bear in mind tostick to ST Javascript and Jqeury effects.
